Detailed guidance for XM setup, existing broker connection, stopping and resuming trading, disabling an account, notifications, referrals and account management.
Software. Not a broker.
Edamame connects to an eligible MT5 broker account. The broker holds funds, provides execution and controls account infrastructure.
Getting started with XM
Download the app or use web access, create your account, choose “Create a new XM account,” enter country and legal name, choose VPS server, review details, enable notifications, wait for verification, choose risk level and monthly stop loss.
Connecting your existing broker
Choose “Connect your own broker,” enter broker name, choose VPS server, select monthly or yearly plan, complete payment, enable notifications, wait for VPS setup and configure the algorithm.
Choosing your VPS
A VPS is a private server that keeps Edamame running 24/5 even when your phone or computer is off. Users choose the server closest to their region, subject to final availability.
Choosing risk level
Risk levels define how aggressively the strategy can operate. Start with a balanced option when unsure and adjust from the dashboard if appropriate.
Setting monthly stop loss
Choose the maximum monthly loss threshold. Once reached, Edamame stops opening new positions for the rest of the month according to final product logic.
Activating the strategy
Review details, tick the confirmation, and activate only once you understand the account route, risk level, stop-loss logic and broker relationship.
Reading the dashboard
Use the dashboard to review connection status, open positions, performance analytics, trade history and notifications.
Tracking trade history
Trade history gives users a complete record of executed activity, entry prices, closed positions and performance information.
