<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-20 wp-block-paragraph">Your dashboard gives you a live summary of Edamame&#8217;s status and performance. Your trade history goes one level deeper: it is the record of each individual trade Edamame has made on your account, so you can see exactly what happened, not just how things stand right now.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Why trade history matters</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-21 wp-block-paragraph">Edamame follows a predefined XAU/USD strategy rather than making independent decisions, and your trade history is how you check that in practice. Instead of taking that on trust, you can look back at what was actually traded and compare it against the <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-choose-youre-risk-level/">risk level</a> and <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-monthly-stop-loss/">monthly stop loss</a> you set. This is also the same record your broker holds on their own side, since Edamame never holds your funds and executes entirely through your MT5 broker account. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/regulation/">Regulation</a> for how that custody relationship works.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step-by-step</h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Open trade history from your dashboard</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-22 wp-block-paragraph">Your trade history sits alongside the performance summary on your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-read-your-dashboard/">dashboard</a>.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Review the trades Edamame has made</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Each entry reflects a trade actually executed on your account through your connected MT5 broker.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Compare it against your settings</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-23 wp-block-paragraph">Check that trading activity matches the <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-choose-youre-risk-level/">risk level</a> and <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-monthly-stop-loss/">monthly stop loss</a> you chose.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4. Use it alongside your dashboard, not instead of it</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-24 wp-block-paragraph">Trade history shows what has already happened. For live, current status, go back to your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-read-your-dashboard/">dashboard</a>.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How it works</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-29 wp-block-paragraph">The dashboard reflects your account in real time. It is also where you go to <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-stop-and-resume/">pause or stop trading</a> if you need to.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-34 wp-block-paragraph">Activation is what turns your setup into a live, automated XAU/USD strategy. Before you get here, you should have connected your broker (either <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-get-started-using-xm/">via XM</a> or by <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-connect-your-existing-broker/">connecting your existing broker</a>), set up your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-up-a-vps/">VPS</a>, and chosen your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-choose-youre-risk-level/">risk level</a> and <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-monthly-stop-loss/">monthly stop loss</a>.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How it works</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-35 wp-block-paragraph">Before activating, you are asked to review a confirmation screen and accept a risk acknowledgment. This exists because no legitimate trading system can guarantee profits. Only activate once you understand how Edamame will operate on your account. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/regulation/">Regulation</a> for the full risk picture.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step-by-step</h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Review your setup</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Confirm your broker is connected, your VPS is running, and your risk level and monthly stop loss are set the way you want them.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Accept the risk acknowledgment</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Read the confirmation screen and accept the risk acknowledgment. This is where you confirm you understand how the system will operate, including that losses are possible.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Activate Edamame</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-36 wp-block-paragraph">Once accepted, Edamame goes live on your account. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-read-your-dashboard/">how to read your dashboard</a> to check on it once it is running.</p>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-42 wp-block-paragraph">Your risk level is one of the core controls built into Edamame, alongside your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-monthly-stop-loss/">monthly stop loss</a>. It determines how much Edamame allocates to each position, without changing the underlying XAU/USD strategy itself.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How it works</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-43 wp-block-paragraph">A higher risk level increases position sizing, which can amplify both gains and losses. It does not change how the strategy analyses the market, only how much is put behind each trade. No risk setting removes the possibility of losses, so choose a level you are genuinely comfortable holding through a losing month. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/regulation/">Regulation</a> for the full risk picture.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step-by-step</h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Open risk settings during setup</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-44 wp-block-paragraph">Your risk level is chosen as part of account setup, whether you get started with <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-get-started-using-xm/">XM</a> or <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-connect-your-existing-broker/">connect your existing broker</a>.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Review the levels available</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-45 wp-block-paragraph">Compare the position-sizing behaviour of each level before deciding. If anything is unclear, contact <a href="https://www.edamame.com/help/">support</a> before you activate..</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Select your level and set your stop loss</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-46 wp-block-paragraph">Choose the level that matches your comfort with risk, then set your <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-monthly-stop-loss/">monthly stop loss</a> alongside it before activating.</p>

It sets a ceiling on how much you are willing to lose in a given month, rather than leaving that decision unbounded.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How it works</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-50 wp-block-paragraph">Once your monthly stop loss is reached, Edamame will not open new positions for the rest of the month. This is different from manually <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-stop-and-resume/">stopping trading</a>, which can close open positions immediately. A monthly stop loss is a boundary you set in advance, not an action you take in the moment. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/regulation/">Regulation</a> for the full risk picture, including what automated trading can and cannot guarantee.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-54 wp-block-paragraph">A VPS, or Virtual Private Server, is what keeps Edamame&#8217;s automation running continuously, not just while your own device happens to be on. Setting it up is part of the standard flow whether you get started with <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-get-started-using-xm/">XM</a> or <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-connect-your-existing-broker/">connect your own broker</a>, there is no separate VPS purchase to make.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Why Edamame runs on a VPS</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-55 wp-block-paragraph">Automated gold trading needs to keep working around the clock, not just while your device is switched on. Edamame runs through a private VPS environment, and your MT5 login details are entered directly into the VPS rather than stored by Edamame. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/regulation/">Regulation</a> for the full security picture.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step-by-step</h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Choose your VPS server</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During setup, select the VPS server location closest to your region for the most reliable connection.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Enter your MT5 login details</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Your MT5 credentials are entered directly into the VPS. Edamame does not store them.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-63 wp-block-paragraph">If you already use an MT5 broker that supports XAU/USD and the required account configuration, connecting<br> it to Edamame&#8217;s automation takes nine steps, on the <a href="https://www.edamame.com/pricing/">monthly or yearly plan</a>.</p>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-64 wp-block-paragraph">The process covers entering your broker details, setting up a VPS, selecting a plan, completing payment, and<br>choosing your risk settings before you activate. If you do not have your own broker yet, see <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-get-started-using-xm/">getting started with XM</a><br> for the free route instead.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Step-by-step setup</h3>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">1. Start account creation</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Open the app or web platform and create an Edamame account, or sign in if you already have one.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">2. Select “Connect your own broker”</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This route requires a paid Edamame subscription. It is designed for users who already have a broker relationship.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">3. Enter broker name</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Search for your broker or type it manually. The broker must support MT5, XAU/USD and the required account type.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">4. Choose VPS server</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-65 wp-block-paragraph">Choose the closest server to your region. The <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-set-up-a-vps/">VPS</a> keeps the platform running continuously.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">5. Select your plan</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-66 wp-block-paragraph">Choose Monthly at $100/month or Yearly at $960/year, equivalent to $80/month. Features are the same across both paid plans. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/pricing/">full pricing</a>.</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">6. Confirm and complete payment</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Review your order and proceed to payment</p>

<div style="height:10px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">7. Enable notifications</h3>

<p class="has-link-color wp-elements-67 wp-block-paragraph">Turn on push notifications to receive trade and account updates in real time. See <a href="https://www.edamame.com/how-to-manage-notifications/">managing notifications</a>.</p>
