If you already use an MT5 broker that supports XAU/USD and the required account configuration, connecting
it to Edamame’s automation takes nine steps, on the monthly or yearly plan.
The process covers entering your broker details, setting up a VPS, selecting a plan, completing payment, and
choosing your risk settings before you activate. If you do not have your own broker yet, see getting started with XM
for the free route instead.
Step-by-step setup
1. Start account creation
Open the app or web platform and create an Edamame account, or sign in if you already have one.
2. Select “Connect your own broker”
This route requires a paid Edamame subscription. It is designed for users who already have a broker relationship.
3. Enter broker name
Search for your broker or type it manually. The broker must support MT5, XAU/USD and the required account type.
4. Choose VPS server
Choose the closest server to your region. The VPS keeps the platform running continuously.
5. Select your plan
Choose Monthly at $100/month or Yearly at $960/year, equivalent to $80/month. Features are the same across both paid plans. See full pricing.
6. Confirm and complete payment
Review your order and proceed to payment
7. Enable notifications
Turn on push notifications to receive trade and account updates in real time. See managing notifications.
8. Wait for VPS verification
The VPS provider verifies and prepares your server. You receive a notification when it is ready.
9. Choose your risk settings and activate
Once ready, choose your risk profile and monthly stop-loss threshold, then activate the system..
FAQ
Your broker needs to support MT5, XAU/USD and the required account configuration. If it does, you can connect it during setup. Edamame connects to your broker through MT5 itself, and never holds your funds or account credentials outside that connection.
If your broker does not support MT5, XAU/USD or the required account type, use the free route instead. See getting started with XM. That keeps a working option available rather than leaving an unsupported broker as a dead end.
You review your order and proceed to payment, then set up notifications and your VPS before activating. Notifications and your VPS are part of the same setup flow, not extra purchases, so nothing further needs buying once you have chosen a plan.
